Fly through the air!
This morning the kids had a flying lesson. One that they have had before. Sebastian basically launches them through the air towards are nice soft king size bed. They had SO much fun!
August turned his blanket into a cape. It was perfect. There was so much laughter in that room this morning.
Rosa kept twisting in the air so I couldn't catch her in a flying pose. She is SO long she didn't stay airborne long.
I think August was the straightest flier..then again he is the smallest and has the most room.He must have flown about 12 times. He loved it. He was pretending to be a superhero of course!
Veda Jo, kept telling Sebastian not to go too high, then every time she would laugh and want to do it again and again.
Last night we went to the Fireman's Retirement Ball. They give out a few verbal awards and say goodbye and honor the guys who are retiring. Sebastian and I got to dress up and go out alone. It was fun. We ate and talked, and hung out. Good times all around.

Children's museum
Today we ventured out to Everett to go to their Children's museum. I had Rosa along with me because her school was still at camp and she had stayed home yesterday because of throwing up.
They all had a blast. The place is really fun. It is not as big as the Seattle one, but you get to park really close and it isn't half as crowded. Here are some highlights from my CAMERA phone.
This was this dark/light room. It works with your shadow and a projector and lights. So this first one is all the kids.. Left to right August, Veda, and Rosa.
The light room doing a different light thingy.. That is me on the right and a blur of the rest of the kids on the left.
Same room, all kids each little square.
August and Veda on the tractor in the farm exhibit
Doctor August at your service..the best Vet in town!
Then on the roof there is this big playground. It has two huge climbers, music making instruments, and a area to dig up dinosaur fossils.
I have no clue why this keeps uploading sideways, it was saved right side up..
So afterwords I took the kids to Burger King. They now have a mac and cheese and apples kids meal. They were so happy to go. We don't go to fast food often because most stuff there is meaty unless your getting dessert. Anyway they got their toys and were very pleased.
After that we went to visit Sebastian at the fire station!

This is the song that never ends....
O.K that is one of the most annoying songs ever. Ya know what else is annoying. Your whole family getting sick. Seriously, I though it would skip poor Rosa. My sweet girl woke up in the middle of the night puking. Now we have ALL had this bug. It sucks too because her school was going to camp today overnight.
So now my little girl is stilling on the couch watching Project Runway. She LOVES this show.
We had a great family night last night. We all went bowling! The kids had so much fun, even August got in to it.
I got this idea from a bunch of other pictures I had seen. I couldn't get my "models" to completely cooperate, but I got one neat shot.

Saturday
What a busy day! We went to two birthday parties, out to lunch and to a bookstore for gifts. Just me and all 3 kids. They actually did really well.
During our bookstore trip I knew August had to pee, he kept grabbing his junk. So I pick him up and we walk to the bathroom. I tell him it is time to pee. He says "but my penis isn't working" I ask him how come it isn't working. He says "it doesn't work cause it has no pee in it" Nice try little guy, I tell him we are going to try anyway.
Of course he goes!
I also wanted to say Happy Birthday ( tomorrow cause I may not be blogging) to Hannah's family. A sweet wonderful girl I only "knew" through a moms group online. I will never forget that sweet smiling face..the stories her mama would write about her and her sister... The love in that family is really awesome.

lost blog
I'm so mad last night I lost this huge post. Usually it saves as I write, this time no such luck. I went to spell check and it went down hill from there. It has only saved the first 8 sentences. I had pictures up and everything. I was much too lazy to write it all over again.
My son is going through this phase where he doesn't want to eat anything, but would rather drink his calories. He wants water, and juice, and milk, and chocolate milk.. you get the drift. He will barely touch solid foods. It is frustrating, but I'm trying not to let it become a issue and hope it passes. I just keep offering him real food and try to limit the sugary drinks. Still he is managing to grow a ton. He is getting so tall!
His hair is slightly out of control too. He loves it though. I ask him if he wants a trim or hair cut like daddy and he says "no I like my hair crazy" actually it is more like "no, I yike my haya cwazy" which always makes me giggle. He is starting to let me push his hair behind his ears. That way he can actually see at times.

Sick
Ugg being sick sucks. I fell sick yesterday night on my way home from my little adventure yesterday. Huge headache, body aches and then to my surprise throwing up in this morning. Can I just say that throwing up when your really sick is horrible. It is like my whole body is spinning and confused and trying to eject something from way down in my stomach. I found myself calling Sebastian for help..What I wanted from him I'm not sure..but I felt like death. I spend the next 8 hours in a shivery sweaty daze. Laying in bed, half watching TV, or sleeping. Luckily now at 6 pm I'm feeling tons better. I actually ate cereal and a piece of bread and I don't have the urge to vomit. HURRAY!
On A better note, I got a new tattoo yesterday. It isn't done yet though. I have about 5 or so hours left to go. I have realized 3 hours is my sitting limit for pain. My good pal came and visited me for the last 45 minutes to give me emotional support. It was much needed.
I realize how huge my arm looks here. I look buff or something. HA HA! I have some more pics in color that Kathryn took..I will upload them later.

So sweet and yet so naughty
Late night skating!
I adore my son. He gives snuggles and is very sweet. He tells me he loves me and we have great moments together...
On the flip side my son is the craziest devil of a 3 year old. I never knew it could be this frustrating. Today he gave me snuggles and kissed me then, peed his pants 2 feet from the bathroom. ( he has been dry.. poop and pee for days and days). Then he sits at the top of the stairs holding a framed photo of himself. I told him that was my boy and to be careful. He said it was his. I said you can look at it if you want. Then I left to grab his bedding that I was about to wash. I hear a loud crash. I looked and he had thrown the picture down the stairs. Glass everywhere..on the carpet, on the hard wood, even out the front door. He looked surprised it broke like that. I was SO mad. I grabbed him and then put him in his room. Then I cleaned up for 15 minutes. All the while him crying in his room.
"Do I have to stay in here forever??" he would wail every few minutes.
When I was all finished cleaning I came in his room. He was rocking in the rocking chair and said.
"I'm sorry mommy, I'm ready to be nice now" It was really sweet and he did look really sad. I don't think he has seen me that mad before.

Funny
While driving my kids home from school, one of Rosa's friends and I were having a conversation about her puppy dog Cooper.
She starts by telling me how crazy he is. He likes to jump and spin around in circles. I say he sounds very active. She says that Angus ( my dog) isn't like her dog, she can tell. I say, yes, Angus is a old dog that doesn't do much anymore. Then she says..
"Yeah, he isn't hypERallergenic like Cooper"
Me "uhm like what do you mean"
Her " You know like he doesn't jump up and act crazy..HYPERallergenic"
Me "yes your right, he isn't like than he is more mellow"
O.K I had to hold back my laughter because she was so serious. I'm pretty sure she mean hyperactive, but she was just too cute to correct.

van a no go
Yesterday the horrible happened. My lovely camper van WOULDN'T start! I was picking up Veda at her friends house. I tried getting it jumped and fiddling with a bunch of stuff I didn't know. Which oddly didn't work (HA)
Of course Sebastian was at work so he couldn't come and rescue us. To make matters worse I had two kids in the back who had accidentally wet their pants... The thought of walking 3 miles home sounded horrible with all three of them. Luckily we got a ride home and I had toe lave my lovely car behind. WAHHHHH! I hope Sebastian can figure out what is wrong and it isn't pricey!

Rosa VS her bike
Rosa got in a bike brawl a few days ago. She was at the park riding the bike/ walk path, doing a trick. She has a bmx type trick bike with pegs on the front and back. She was apparently doing a trick she has done tons of times. She was going too slow and just tipped over. When she couldn't get her feet on the ground fast enough her face slammed in to her metal handle bars. Poor kid got 6 stitches from her cheek all way to the inside of her mouth. She couldn't completely close her mouth because of the stitches and swollen cheek. She was NOT a happy camper. All this happened while I was at my very first wedding photo shoot!
So I get texted that my first born in being taken to the ER after a bad fall off her bike. Needless to say I was mildy distracted at the wedding! Luckily my dad was able to go and help with the other kids while she got stitched up!
