Frozen pizza??

Is this an acceptable dinner for 3 growing bodies? hmm the answer is YES. If you have 3 kids and your home with them and there is nothing else to make them, and taking them to the store would cause me to go insane.

Don't worry, its not like I gave them donuts for snack earlier...o.k guilty again.

I promise to feed them broccoli, tofu, and various fruits tomorrow ;)

BBQing

Summer is here, the kids are out of school, and we went to 2 BBQ's today! Actually, me and Rosa went to one, but the others went to two. Veda and August were super tired. They played ALL DAY! The first BBQ had a jumpy house and the second had a trampoline, and we also played kickball there. It was fun times all around!

Wish

I wish I could fast forward to 3 pm tomorrow. I don't like funerals..who does? I get that people can want to goodbye and celebrate this person that meant so much to them. I just don't get why we have to do it together. I guess that just shows how people grieve differently. I know it is going to be so sad. I feel fortunate that I got to have last moments with my wonderful grandmother. I said goodbye in my own way while she was still alive. I feel like funerals make you go backwards in the whole grieving process. Again, it is probably just me. OR maybe the funereal is the finalizing of her death... ugg.
I will miss her, so many will. I dreamt about her last night and I just kept hugging her, she looked healthy but I knew in my dream she was sick. It was nice though, to hug her again.

Computer glitch

I have tons of photos..from the zoo, and the park the other day. My problem is my computer keeps freezing when I try to access them. SUPER annoying.

I went to the dentist yesterday..good news NO cavities! WOOHOO. I have a really nice dentist, after all the years of crappy ones and as a child mean ones.

I REALLY want a Rootbeer float, that sounds so good I could even see myself going to the store to get the ingredients.

My Veda only has 3 more days of preschool then she is officially a kindergartner! Amazing how fast time flies. She is going to do great, I know it.

Funny Talk

While at camp a few weeks back, Sebastian and I got to witness the teaching of a 4 year old..to another 4 year old.
August was sitting with his buddy who is about 8 months older than him. This boy has a excellent vocabulary; he talks perfect, and is always a wealth of 4 year old knowledge.
They are sitting across from one another chatting away..
Boy " This is your pointer finger" he holds up his pointer and shows August.
August looks at his fingers and holds up his middle finger instead.
Boy " Oh no, you can use that finger, that one is BAD LUCK!" So they both put the middle fingers up and look at them before going on to the others.. Me and Sebastian are cracking up at how serious the conversation was and how cute they were.
Boy" Now this is your thumb, it means everything is good" So they both hold up their thumbs and smile, so pleased with themselves.
After that we left the boys on the grass to do more important finger talking.

Tired

How can I be tired and hungry when I slept 10 hours last night and I have been eating EVERYTHING!? Maybe the working out I have been doing again? I'm hoping to do a 4 miler today. With all that is going on, running feel cleansing. This can be good and bad. Tearing up on a run is kind of awkward!
I must go outside to enjoy the sun now :)

Summer..

It is coming up! The weather is warm every day, my plants are beginning to bloom and I saw a sneak peak of something to come...

Strawberries!!!! YUM!
Running though the sprinklers and catching sights of butterflies!

August has had some hard times leaving me lately so I decided to do some momma- son time and we made some oatmeal cookies. They turned out super good. We used the recipe from this new baking cookbook that I really like.

I don't have any after photos of the cookies! I got too lazy :)

Love

Love is so much stronger than I give it credit for sometimes. Right now my heart is breaking because I'm losing someone I love so much. She is one of the most kind, and loving person I know. When I was little she would make the best hot chocolate and cinnamon toast I had ever eaten. She also had the most beautiful garden, and when I was small I would love just see all the blooming flowers and run around like I was in some sort of wonderland park. I have so many wonderful memories, I know I'm lucky to have been loved by her. When it comes down to the last moments, love is all that matters.

A month ago today..I blogged.

That is a long time to take off blogging. I don't think I have any followers anymore! OOPS. Life gets in the way sometimes I guess.
School is almost over for the kids. They have some summer stuff planned, but now I'm not sure enough. The girls are fighting like crazy lately. It is really annoying and tires me out!
We went to Rosa's school camp last week. It was one of the best so far. We have been to 3. The kids had a blast, the parents and teachers taught fun classes too. It was beautiful there too, we got the best weather. Even if it was a little too hot, we had nice big trees for shade.

Today I actually got my camera out at the park and took a bunch of photos. My nephew is totally in to Auggie. It is very cute how he tries to copy him and follow him around a bit too.

He had just woken up and was not ready to smile for me.

Sam has amazing strength! I love the look on his face as he hangs there! ha ha I cant beleive how fast he is growing!!

Mama and her girls. Ruby just got the cutest hair cut.
They both wanted mama's lap.
