Well the run went pretty well. Rosa had a hard time on the last hill. Her bike is kind of heavy. She did good though. 3.5 miles with hills, that is my girl!
Unfortunately I pulled something in my lower leg. I rolled my ankle in the last block. The weird thing is my ankle doesn't even hurt now, it is my side calf it is SUPER tight and hard to walk. I cant point or flex my foot without pain. Sucks. Oh well. Hopefully it will heal soon.

Jogging

I'm about to go jog with Rosa. She will be riding her bike on the 3.5 mile run. I'm excited! I hope I can not freak out and worry while she is on her bike.. She is a good rider though. Wish us luck!

Crafty

Yeah I'm crafty. I have been doing a lot of crafts lately, but have been too busy/ lazy ha ha to take a photo. I did take one tonight, although from my camera phone, so it is crappy. I made a oil cloth lunch bag for the family. I had this cloth left over lying around and looked up a tutorial online here. But I also found two other ones here, and here. The last one looks easier than the one I used. I do well with picture directions.

Itchy eyes!

I got to work in the yard today, which equals itchy eyes and sneezes. It was nice though, the sun was out, August was on the trampoline , and Veda helped me weed the garden.

Howdy

Today was filled with sugar. Rosa was so excited last night she could barely sleep. She kept waking up worried she had slept too long. They woke up and found their eggs and their baskets and starting the sugar marathon.
Unfortunately for me I have a dumb cold, It sucks. So I have not eaten as much sugar as I had hoped..
All in all it was a good weekend..I got to go out and watch a friend's husband's band, and hang with the family too!

Night-night

Once again the sweet old blanket( AKA Night-night, AKA Lion) is missing. It has been almost a week now. I cant find it anywhere. I'm pretty confident the last time I saw it was Friday ( last week) day time. Then I left and when Sebastian put the kids to bed he couldn't find it. Now for the life of me I can't remember if I took the kids somewhere that afternoon..somewhere he could have left it. Anyhow we are 75% sure it is somewhere in the house. I have fully cleaned out August's room including his closet..under his bed. It is not in there. I know it must be in some strange place that we have not looked...any ideas??

Sun

Goodness I love the sun. It was such a pretty day today. The kids were able to be outside for a long time too.

growing

She really is growing fast. I think that is why I have been so inclined to take so many pics of her lately. Granted my other kids are growing as well. It is just she seems to be going from being a little kids, to just a REAL kid lol. One that reads and write and plays and understands things..

Yeah I did a workout. It felt so good too. Now if only my house would clean itself..then my day would be golden!

Ro-Ro

I just love her. We played computer games together today, and she kicked my butt. I really was trying to win too. I'm not the type to let others win usually..neither is she.

bloated

This is how I feel after almost a week in Vegas...You can imagine it can't you. A lot of food, drink and what not..
I have not worked out in almost two weeks. This a lot for me. I usually do 3 to5 days a week, depending on time and how motivated I am. Now I'm not motivated. I need something to kick me in the rear!
I'm also going t try to get back on the photo a day bandwagon. It seem I slipped off. I really liked doing it when I was on top of things.

8 Years Old

Wow time sure does fly. 8 years ago I became a parent to a tiny little tomato. She really looked like a tomato when she was born because her face was all red. Later she was more like a little monkey. Always climbing with her long skinny limbs and her chubby little face. What a silly, smart and fun little girl I have. I'm so lucky to be a part of her life.

Shoot

I did a photo shoot for a beautiful family. They have a new baby only 5 weeks old. They also have a sweet 2 year old that had a lot of fun bouncing on the bed during the shots. A session of cuteness for sure!

Capes

August is totally in to dress up. He wants to be a doctor one minute, then Sandman from the Spider-man comic book the next.
He also demands that everything be turned in to a cape. We have made capes from all sorts of linens in this house. Mostly blankets. Thank goodness for safety pins! They are paramount for cape construction!
